Port Aransas Ferry
Photo from the sky
The Port Aransas Ferry is one of two ways to drive on the island.??It is a free ferry that is maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation. Any new-comer to the island should ride the ferry at least once.??Some parts of the years are better than others, but in the winter you can walk on the ferry and ride back and forth, watching the dolphins jumping and playing nearby.
